## Background

Bio-convergence is a multidisciplinary field in which biology synergistically combines with other disciplines, mostly engineering and computing, to address unresolved challenges. To achieve this, the initiative aims to support the establishment of a full ecosystem for all its components to integrate BC technologies in industry, startups, academia, investors, infrastructure, and research.


## Main goals


### Participation in key WEF events and activities.

Promote the field and create an impact.


### Taking an active roles in WEF's executive committee and working groups.

to promote BC related issues, e.g., facilitative regulation of BC products, mostly in health-tech.


### Creating business opportunities for startups through C4IR WEF platforms.


### Formal alliance and collaboration with other C4IR centers

Drafting a joint report with C4IR Serbia, showcasing their respective strengths and potential in biotechnology and bioconvergence and inspire actionable partnerships, drive innovation in bio-based economies, and support the development of Serbia’s Bio4Hub and Israel’s cutting-edge biotech sectors.


### Development of human capital to acquire tools and knowledge.
